Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time I saw her in a pink

I wonder, I was staring without any blink

Swinging in my life without any hint

Crashing doors of mind she left an imprint

Bowing to her grace I fell in her so deep

Everything was stolen along with my sleep

Dream was soon broken to my surprise

It was time to leave the world of disguise

Moments & memories were ready to upset

And this precious pain was locked as my asset

What a lesson to be learned from time

Falling in love was a feeling of crime

Love transforms never dies, never fails

It takes new stands , new shapes , new scales

Tougher I emerge today with no one to blame

Like a fighter I strive , for much to reclaim

Losses and gains are now forgotten acts

Kissing my destiny & moving ahead with facts

Except few things nothing will last
Tomorrows time will answer this past

Breaking from a Seed

Lost are those days when we were kids

Crying was evident for all our needs

Can't stop growing there were no options

School was only world & mind full of questions

Curious were brains and hearts were impatient

Melted & tempted when small candies were present

Pressure to learn was like pressure to earn

Exams were terror & vacations were fun

Full of energy, desires and dreams

Decisions were supported with weapon of screams

In morning we fight by evening was truce

We never had ego, we hardly knew to refuse

Innocence was a treasure, minds were free

Hearts were open and generous like tree

Then came age for specific knowledge

Use of courage and use of bondage

As we grow we learn new reasons for tears

The new world is new friends and peers

Reasons to compete have changed so fast

And the race is now for toys of different cast

We still play but toys we never share

Games are different with no rules to declare

I wonder today why can't we think like a kid

Like new born plant breaking from a seed

Rusted with Time

Sometimes when life has nothing to deal

It swings & rolls like a blind wheel

Leading the way shedding all the dust

When minds are clogged with idle rust

Freedom is grabbed under wild claws

Age is drifting in cage of laws

Legs are chained with rods of relation

Hands are tied with ropes of affection

Speechless tongue & expressive eyes

Welcomes the truth behind every said lies

Disappearing tears are difficult to trace

Like unreal smile on a deceptive face

Hanging on a wall like an empty frame

Every color of life appears to be same

Mind is rusted like a piece of scrap

Distance leads & time sets the trap

Until winds of change surround the mind

Silence is broken for act of kind

Such moments clear all the rust

Waiting ends with a beginning of new trust

Life will again take a sigh of relief

New hope burning with light of belief

Born in the prison between night and day

Moon was half with midnight ray

Fighting the rains in serpents shelter

On Father's head in floods and water

Grown with love of entire village

The lord was favourite to every age

Beautiful rhythm from the wooden flute

Peacocks feather was the symbol of cute

Leader of calves, known for his flirts

Ruler of love was killer of hearts

His smallest finger was powerful enough

To lift the mountain standing so tough

Above the blood are the relations

Message he gave with his creations

Born to Devaki, with Yashoda he was grown

Lesson of this motherhood is still wellknown

Friendship for sudama was his childhood story

One meet was richer to end his poverty

Love and affection with Radha was so pure

Their love is immortal with distance to endure

Draupadi's humiliation was saved by brother

No demons survived against unbeatable warrior

He taught us to lead the life with aims
