 The path of truth may be dark & hollow
 When you walk alone no one may follow

 Short cuts in life are extremely tempting
 When roads look tougher, twisted, never ending

 Its difficult to stand & watch the fright

 When doors to dreams seems to be locked
 All morals & values of life are blocked

 Faith disappears as eyes turn numb
 Words are lost, leaving us helpless & dumb

 When vision is unclear destiny seems misleading
 Failures are frequent , future is questioning

 Raise your eyes to longest length
 Break the walls of despair with all your strength

 Fill your breath with prayers of confidence
 Prove the world that you can make a difference

Christmas Gift

  On the stroke of twelve
  I feel the shiver
  Some one arrives
  But I hear no whisper

  Old man in red
  With beard long white
  Smiling he stares
  With eyes so bright

  With a star on a cap
  And a big bag
  Full of gifts
  With a name tag

  I asked him
  "Why are you here"
  He replied
  "I am lord's messenger

  There is a gift for you
  That you were wishing
  I am here to give
  With all my blessing

  Open your hands
  Close your eyes
  And now you wait
  For big surprise"

  I waited for long
  With nothing in hand
  Opened my eyes
  Smiling I stand

  He left me a quote
  That said so right

  "Your hands seems to be empty
  Because your eyes are full with greed
  Look at them under god's light
  It will show you what they need"

My Kite Longest

  A season begins with traditional delight
  Pull the string & it takes the flight

  In different direction when winds blow
  Turning & twisting all of them follow

  Right, left, up & down with air
  In various colors, together they pair

  Like a battlefield in the high sky
  And many compete to fight & fly

  As strings cross to cut each other
  Kites rise & fall in breezy weather

  Symbol of confidence reaching such height
  To disappear in clouds till others loose sight

  Sometimes its wild, sometimes its steady
  When one falls, other one is ready

  A festival where no one bends
  Hope strives, excitement never ends

Prayer

  Everyday when I sing a prayer
  With eyes closed for lord's favour
  I ask for a life of one more day
  Where love & faith always stay

  Day full of joyful moments & words
  Like open sky for flock of birds
  Stories of challenging times

  Crossing the testing lines

  Deeds of kindness spreading forever
  Spirit of wisdom taking allover

  A day which ends with hope
  And life teaches to cope
  Destiny rolling like dice
  Few situations that arise
  When time demands the price
  New moments drop a surprise

  A day when strength within
  Fights stronger to rise & win
  Passing through every dark cloud
  In thunderstorm so loud
